HYE CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS!!!

Jack Muradliyan Scholarship

This Hye Camp Needs Based Scholarship Program is open to first-time Armenian campers whose family demonstrate significant hardship or financial need. The mission of the program is to increase access to the fun, joy, and fellowship of the Western Diocese Armenian Summer Camp, “Hye Camp”.

To warrant consideration for the Hye Camp scholarship, candidates must be a first-time camper who’s family is enduring economic or family hardship. The scholarship will pay for the camp admission fee and bus transportation (if needed). Our goal is to help everyone who qualifies for assistance, however only 5 scholarships will be awarded for 2024.

To be considered, each applicant’s family is encouraged to complete and submit a Jack Muradliyan Hye Camp Scholarship application prior to April 1, 2024 (the day camper applications are open for registration). If selected, you will receive a Coupon Code to use during camper registration to receive the discount. If you have already registered your camper and made a payment, the Camp Committee will refund the amount paid and will apply the Coupon Code. The Scholarship final deadline is May 1st, 2024.

Please note: This scholarship is not managed by the Hye Camp Committee and decisions are made solely by the Jack Muradliyan Scholarship Committee.

Helping Armenian Youth Builds Armenia’s Future

Paparigian Scholarship

For the 21st consecutive year The Paparigian Foundation is once again proud to offer “Camperships” to children who faithfully attend Sunday School. Camperships cover the registration fee for one week. Transportation costs are not covered. Recipients will be chosen based on the following criteria:

  • One recipient should be a student who has shown dedication to Christian ideals through outstanding attendance, performance and behavior at Sunday School. This student should also exhibit kindness and Christian service to others. Consideration need not be given to financial need in the selection of this student.

  • One recipient should show dedication through regular attendance at Sunday School. They should also be one whose family may not be able to send their child to camp due to financial hardship.

Scholarship applicants are encouraged to apply to Hye Camp regardless of scholarship status. Places will not be held for Paparigian applicants who have not applied for Hye Camp.

NOTE: you are required to submit full payment at the time of application, whether that be through scholarship or personal outlay. If you are awarded a scholarship after you have applied and successfully submitted payment to Hye Camp, your registration fee will be reimbursed.

Don’t know who your local Sunday School Superintendent is? Well, that’s probably a sign that you need a little more Western Diocese Armenian church in your life :-) Click the button above to contact your local Western Diocese Parish Priest to find out!

Camp Scholarships are only redeemable for use during the year in which they are awarded. Scholarships have no cash value outside of the Hye Camp program and are not redeemable as a cash payout.
