Family Day

Family Day is a wonderful opportunity to visit the Archbishop Vatche Hovsepian Camp property and see what the Hye Camp program is all about.

We know it can be difficult the first time your child is away for a week of camp, both for the parent and child. Family Day is the perfect opportunity to see the facility (cabins, bathrooms, kitchen, lake, etc.) and experience it in person. It will help reduce anxiety for the campers to know what to expect when they return in the summer. The day will consist of a brief orientation, lunch, tour of our camp, sports activities, campfire, and a parents-only Q&A. You will have a chance to meet some of our Directors, staff members, and Camp Committee members. There is no fee to attend, but we ask that you sign-up below so we can plan your attendance!

NOTE: If you are unsure about sending your child to Camp, we suggest registering them for Hye Camp BEFORE attending Family Day. If you wait until after Family Day to register, it will likely be a waitlist only by then. You can always cancel their application. If your child is currently on a waitlist, it is still strongly encouraged for you and your child to attend as spots may open up.
